What is Dragon Boating?

A 2000 year old tradition that features teams of 20 paddling a 40 ft. long boat to the beat of their drummer for a 200 meter race.

Festival Basics

No Experience Necessary!

Grab 20 of your closest friends, family members or co-workers and create a team or register as an individual and we will put you on a team.

You will have one team practice the week leading up to festival day.

You will race three times during your assigned heat.

Teams will have designated 10×10 space to tailgate in between races (You need to provide tent, chairs, refreshments (or purchase from our food trucks), lawn games, etc.)

Food Trucks will be on site

Vendors will be on site selling their craft.

Festival Schedule

Captains Meeting – 8am

Opening Ceremony – 8:30am

Heat 1 – First Race – 8:45am

Heat 1 – Finals – 10:15am

Lunch Break

Heat 2 – First Race – 12:30pm

Heat 2 – Finals – 2pm

Closing Ceremony 3pm
