Teddy & Teah’s Adventures #2

Bucket List #2 May 22-24, 2018 ~ Washington DC: The hotel was so happy to see the pups and had our room ready for them: Beds, bowls, treats, and even toys!! It was raining out when we arrived so we took a walk around the hotel then went to the room for the pups to take a nap while we hung out for the free wine and beer session. They were so tired that Teddy didn’t even care to get on the bed. He went right into his cage.

The next morning we walked everywhere. President’s Park, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, the White House, Reflecting Pool, Capitol Hill, the Waterfront and Washington Channel, Lincoln Park, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, National WWI & World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Women’s Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Tidal Basin, Ford’s Theatre, National Mall, Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site, Smithsonian, and many, many more in between. We even watched the President go by a few times!! There was so much to see!! There were a lot of school kids all over the streets and the pups got so much attention. They couldn’t help but love it!! That evening we headed toward Chinatown, but never made it past the Capital One Arena. You’ll see why if you watch the video link below. We were passing just as the Washington Capitals won and were right in the middle of it when they flooded the streets!! That was nuts. The pups were getting many hugs from the excited fans!!

On our way home, we stopped in Virginia to see the Arlington National Cemetery.
The pups can’t wait fo
r their next adventure!!
